Administrative assistant for three Harvard Business School professors. Duties included the following:
- Processing copyediting changes to manuscripts.

During my employment at The Cheng & Tsui Company I was responsible for the following duties associated with a small publishing company:
Catalog Editor:
- Supervised all aspects of preparation and production of a biannual, 80-page catalog of published and distributed materials. Tasks included the following:
- Selection of distributed titles: Selected titles from academic press catalogs, foreign distributor catalogs, and film and multimedia catalogs. Coordinated acquisition of examination copies of materials for catalog consideration.
- Copywriting and copyediting: Wrote and edited catalog blurbs both for titles published by Cheng & Tsui and for distributed materials.
- Designer and printer liaison: Supervised graphic designer in production of catalog edited spot art and supervised production of catalog covers. Selected printer for catalog and supervised production of printed catalog.
Production Assistant:
- Supervised reprints of titles published by Cheng & Tsui and assisted with the production of new titles. Tasks included the following:
- Reprints: Responsible for all aspects of reprint production, updating front matter, acquiring quotes from printers and preparation of purchase orders.
- New Manuscripts: Prepared new manuscripts for printing produced copyright pages, title pages, and margin layouts for new titles. Designed two book covers. Wrote and edited back cover blurbs for new titles.
OTHER EXPERIENCE
2004 MAUDITE PRODUCTIONS SOMERVILLE, MA
Organized a poetry reading series at Gallery 108 in Somerville, MA. Events included conventional poetry readings, bilingual readings, an Anti-reading Event performed by Ugly Duckling Presse and Loudmouth Collective (Brooklyn, MA), improvisational and poetry event featuring Boston-based ensemble Dear Old Stockholm Syndrome, as well as a small-press fair featuring titles from presses in Boston, New York, Berkeley among other locales. Wrote all press releases, advertising, fliers, etc.
